About "Florence Kissed by the Sun"

About the artwork

I remember standing up there, a little out of breath—not just from the climb, but from what I was seeing. Florence felt like it was holding its breath too. That low sun was casting this golden wash over the rooftops, lighting some up like they were handpicked. I didn’t try to catch the whole city, just this patchwork of warm light and deep shadow. The composition fell into place naturally: the rhythm of rooftops, broken up by that dome in the middle distance, drawing your eye without stealing the whole frame. I shot it in landscape orientation to stretch the view without crowding it. The color contrast mattered a lot here too—the orange glow warming the brick tones, set against that cool bluish tint sneaking into the shaded areas. What struck me was how still everything looked, even though the city was probably busy as ever. It’s like the light slowed everything down just for a moment. And I was lucky enough to be there with my camera ready.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
