About "Follow the leader | Switzerland | herd of cows"

About the artwork

It was at the end of a long day of hiking in the Swiss Alps and I had already put my camera away when we came across these ladies. It was a herd of brown-grey cows called 'Brown Swiss'. They could be heard long before we saw them thanks to the typical bells that cattle wear in the mountains. They were friendly quiet animals and the young ones in particular were very curious. After a while, they walked on again and that's when I took this photo. It was an overcast, foggy day and that gives the photo unsaturated, moody colours. I think this work will fit very nicely in an interior with natural and earthy tones. With this work, you bring the outside in. It will also look very nice as photo wallpaper or in rooms like a hall or toilet.

The Brown Swiss, a brown-grey cattle breed, is an icon in the Swiss Alps. These cows are known for their strength, stamina and friendly nature. They have been kept on alpine pastures for centuries, where they benefit from the rich grass and herbs, contributing to the excellent quality of their milk. Brown Swiss cows are also loved for their impressive adaptability to the rugged mountain climate. Their sturdy conformation, calm temperament and longevity make them ideal for the steep, breathtaking altitudes where tradition meets nature.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
