About the artwork

There’s something deeply satisfying about the rhythm in this frame. A repeating line of stone columns stretches diagonally into shadow, each one catching just enough light to reveal its texture. The lighting does most of the storytelling here—strong directional sun carves perfect slices through the corridor, turning solid architecture into a study in contrast. That push and pull between light and dark gives the image its structure. The columns themselves feel timeless, their weathered surfaces suggesting centuries of quiet endurance. The photo’s composition leans into simplicity, but not without precision. There’s intention in the spacing, in the diagonal flow, and in how the light fades into black toward the edge of the image. I found myself drawn to that balance—repetition without monotony, geometry softened by age. It’s the kind of scene that feels still but alive at the same time. The frame could’ve been taken today or a hundred years ago, and that timelessness is exactly what makes it work.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
