Sant'Alessio Siculo is a town in the metropolitan city of Messina in the Sicily region of Italy with a population of 1527.
Sant'Alessio Siculo, a former fishing village, is located north of Taormina and 40 km southwest of Messina on the coast of the Ionian Sea.
The village lies on the Messina-Siracusa railway line. Because of its extensive sandy beaches and proximity to Taormina, modest tourism has developed in recent years. The inhabitants work mainly in agriculture and tourism.
The neighbouring municipalities are Casalvecchio Siculo, Forza d'Agrò, Santa Teresa di Riva and Savoca.
Until the unification of Italy under Garibaldi, the town belonged to the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. Since 1848, Sant'Alessio Siculo has been an independent municipality. Until that year, the village formed a municipality with Forza d'Agrò.
