No no, this is not a false promise of golden mountains! This is a beautiful iceberg photographed in the warm golden glow of the setting sun.
In Antarctica, the days in summer are long and you hardly have any nights. But as winter approaches, the days get shorter, the temperature goes down and the light becomes more spectacular by the day.
This photo was taken during one of m'n last trips of the season. We had just left Antarctica behind and were sailing towards Argentina. It was a beautiful day and along the way we passed impressive icebergs. This fantastic iceberg with its amazing soft light was something I could not just pass by ;).
