On the small quayside terrace with a cold glass of wine. The sky over Mogán looked like a painting, a mixture of pinks, yellows, oranges, blues and purples, like brushstrokes slowly fading into the approaching night. The smell of the salty sea hung in the air, mixed with the subtle aromas of grilled fish and lemon coming from nearby kitchens.
In front of me, boats lay still on the water, bobbing like sleepy swans. They had done their work for the day, their nets empty, their ropes tightened. But in the morning, when the city still sleeps and the sea murmurs in the dark, they fatigue again. The fishermen will gently untie their boats, sail off into the night, looking for treasures from the deep-fresh fish for the small restaurants along the coast, where tomorrow the tables will again be full of travellers and locals enjoying what the ocean brings them
This moment, this silence, this smell of sea and evening-this is happiness.
I dive, bend, crawl and jump to capture the perfect moment.
