I am lying on my back among the fields of maize. Above me a clear blue sky, around me the rustling of leaves in the wind. The ground is cool, a contrast to the warm sun on my skin. The environment is quiet, secluded from crowds and outside noises.
The maize plants stand tall, forming a natural fence. My gaze focuses upwards, where only the sky is visible. No distractions, no movement except the gentle swaying of the crops. A moment of silence and seclusion.
I dive, bend, crawl and jump to capture the perfect moment.
For more than 20 years, I have been out and about with my camera.
I travel and walk through nature, searching for light, shadows and the lines that make everything just that little bit different.
