About ‘Gullfoss in winterkleding’ by Gerry van Roosmalen
De Gullfoss is een prachtige waterval in het zuiden van IJsland. De waterval is onderdeel van de gouden circel. Gullfoss kun je vertalen met Gouden Waterval. Deze naam dankt ze aan het feit dat er vaak een regenboog wordt geprojecteerd in de nevel die ontstaat als het water in twee trappen de 70 meter diepe kloof in stort.
