A triptych of flowers heralding spring: the Helleborus, the Lily and the Primula. Photographed in my own garden.
By setting the flowers free in Lightroom using masks and then darkening the background in reverse selection, a nice image was created. Next, the Helleborus and Primula were placed slightly off-centre to create more space for the Lily, which was placed in the centre. Also the fact, that the open flowers are on the outside, creates balance in the picture.
A nice detail in the three images is the drop that is present (sometimes very subtly) in each flower.
This triptych makes me very happy, because the spring feeling radiates from it.
