This Honey mushroom literally shoots up like a mushroom. Autumn is the time of the beautiful colours in the forest and of the many mushrooms. Using focus stack where 15 photos with different depths of field were composed, a surreal image is created where the entire fungus is in focus from front to back including the grains of sand. The blurred background makes it look like an underwater photo where the fungus represents a sea anemone. The morning sun provides the natural lighting that makes it a special experience to look at, especially with the many sharp details. Yet it exudes peace and serenity and is then, in my eyes, a true still life
