Hunting osprey.
The osprey is a fairly small eagle that likes to hunt (pray) silently above water, then dive for a fish with its claws outstretched. It is relatively strong considering its size and can grab prey almost as heavy as the bird itself. In flight, the osprey is easily recognised by its all-white underside, its chocolate-brown upper surface and its slightly buckled wings. Its plumage is similar in both sexes. Other eagles usually have straight wings. Its body length is about'n 55 cm, wingspan is 150 to 170 cm and weight 1.5 to 2 kg. Females are slightly larger and heavier.
