The special thing about the Indigo Bunting (Indigogors, Passerina cyanea) is that of this species, the male is completely blue with black shades. It is therefore beautiful to see these birds next to fresh green leaves in the evening sun. Unfortunately, this species is not found in the Netherlands and only occurs in North America. Photo was taken in early July in Rochester, Minnesota, USA.
