About the artwork

An infrared panorama of the Hatertse and Overasseltse vennen near Nijmegen. This picture was taken with a specially adapted camera. This camera doesn't register normal light, but only light in the infrared spectrum. This makes every picture a surprise, because you can not directly see what the camera detects. Filters allow you to choose which wavelength of infrared light to let through. By switching the red and blue channel later in the post processing the photo is converted into a so-called "false colour" photo. It gives a certain atmosphere to a photo.
In the Overasseltse en Hatertse Vennen every season has its own colour and smell. In autumn the red glow of plants and foliage dominates. In summer the plumes of cottongrass and peat fluff sway in the wind. The smell of pine tickles the nose. In winter the landscape reveals its vastness. But the sloping river dunes, dark fens and heather are beautiful in every season. For people from Nijmegen this is the closest nature reserve and they love to use it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
