Abstract movements of spring in light and colour.
This work hangs large on the wall of my studio, filling the space with light and colour.
Everyone, who enters, is delighted by the dynamism of this layered work.
One of the characteristics of my works are colour, movement and light.
You can clearly see that here.
I created the work with big brushes and big arm movements on a very large canvas.
I wanted to move towards light surfaces and set up the work in layers.
For this work, I did research on how to paint on polyester canvas.
I had been given a facade canvas that had an announcement of a concert on it. I sanded the back and d paint mixed with ossegal to create good adhesion to the canvas.
This work will instantly pick up your space and turn it into a party.
As an artist, I try to engage in playful discovery. Letting go, attention, focus, enjoying the process, allowing frustration etc.
Art is a visual language.
Communicating, touching, rubbing, wondering.
Becoming still, no words for a while.
