About ‘Keep it simple yet elegant’ by Greet Pictaz

Every photo has a story. So does this one.

I met with a fellow photographer in a studio with a model for a photo shoot. The model brought a friend with her. The friend was also keen to get in front of our lens, but she didn't have any special clothes with her. But then she doesn't know Greetje yet... As usual, I brought a few outfits: among others a white corset I had found somewhere and a white tulle skirt. That's all it should be.

Since then, the lady did several photo shoots as a model. She does it well, naturally.

I submitted this photo for a competition at the Belgian Senate. Theme "women in power". The photo made it into the top three final spots. Proudly.

You can also find my penchant for dark atmosphere in this elegant photo. The nature of the beast, they call it.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
