I took this photo in September 2025 on the Normandy coast near Surtainville.
The sea breathes fire and silence at the same time, just before the sun disappears behind the clouds and darkness falls.
I love sunsets immensely. And can never actually "just" enjoy them. Always want to capture them.
Because although the sun sets every night; this moment never comes back.
And the moment was beautiful, with that impressive cloud sky adding extra drama.
The reflection in the sea, the orange glow. Magical.
This photo is a real statement photo on a slightly narrower wall as a solo piece.
Do you love it, but prefer it as a photo wallpaper in width or as an eye-catcher above your sofa? You can. It also comes in a landscape (horizontal) version, which might be more suited to this.
