The lively, fashionable holiday resort of Riva del Garda is surrounded by mighty mountains on the narrow northern tip of Lake Garda. This photo shows Piazza Catena, a beautiful square right by the harbour. It was named after a historic chain that once served to protect the harbour.

With around 13,000 inhabitants, it is the second largest town on the lake after Desenzano. It has only belonged to Italy since 1919 and was under Austrian rule for a long time before that. This can still be felt and results in a pleasant mixture of Italian lightness and Tyrolean down-to-earthness.

The Torre Apponale towers over Riva del Garda on the eastern side of Piazza Tre Novembre. This building was once part of the city walls of Riva and was used to defend the harbour Porto ad Ponalem during the 13th century. To fulfil this task, the Torre Apponale (or Apponale Tower) was built in 1220 by the Bonvicino brothers using ashlars of different sizes.

Lake Garda, one of the northern Italian lakes, is the largest lake in Italy, named after the municipality of Garda on the eastern shore. The northern shore of the lake is surrounded by the two-thousand metre peaks of the Garda mountains, such as Monte Baldo, while the southern shore lies in the northern Italian lowlands.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
