About "Landscape with swans and volcanoes reflecting in a lake in black and white"

About the artwork

This work shows a landscape with a lake on which two Black-necked Swans (Cygnus melancoryphus) are swimming and a row of volcanoes, reflecting in the water, in the background.

The image is a fantasy landscape assembled in Photoshop from three vershculty parts: swans, volcanoes and sky. I photographed the Swarthal swans in a fjord in Patagonia and the row of volcanoes on the Altiplano high in the Andes in northern Chile. I deliberately chose a somewhat minimalist image. For me, this uncomplicated image perfectly captures the peace and solitude found on the high plateau of the Andes mountains, the Altiplano, in northern Chile and Argentina.

In black and white, this work has a peaceful look. There is also a colour version of this work with a cool blue character.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
