A large colony of pink flamingos walks on the beach. In the distance, the sea can be seen. On the beach, which is only sand, there are puddles and pools of water. The flamingos are foraging for food.
They are almost all standing from right to left and usually have their heads bent towards the sand and water. The water has small waves and is blue-gray; the sand is ochre yellow.
The photo was taken on the coast near Walvis Bay in Namibia, in Africa, during one of my safari and photography trips.
