About ‘Lone Scots pine in black and white’ by Rini Kools
Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) is scattered by natural metastasis. The name is due to the way the seed from which the tree grew came into place, since it was carried there by the wind. The seed of the Scots pine is light and has a little wing which allows the wind to carry it quite far.
