This photo was taken from Griffith Park, with the iconic Griffith Observatory as its shining centerpiece. Even before the first rays of sunlight hit the horizon, I began the climb up, surrounded by silence and the gentle rustle of nature slowly waking up.
From the vantage point, an enchanting scene unfolded: the observatory was bathed in soft morning light, while the city beyond was still asleep. The sky turned from deep blue to warm orange, and the contrast between the observatory's classical architecture and the rolling hills around it gave the scene an almost cinematic feel.
While shooting, I worked with multiple exposures to capture the subtle nuances of light and shadow. At home, I paid a lot of attention to post-processing: refining colors, balancing contrasts and maintaining the serene atmosphere as I felt it there.
This photo is more than a view - it is an ode to a place where science, nature and culture come together. A moment of peace, of wonder, of a new day unfolding. I hope this work on your wall evokes the same inspiration I felt while standing there.
