This 1903 mill stands in the middle of the country near the Frisian village of Lollum.
In 1970, the mill was destroyed in a heavy storm.
The mill was rebuilt in 1978, this year is also mentioned at the sails.
It drains the Ruigelollum polder, the Wetterskip Fryslân earmarked this mill as a reserve pumping station in 2006 in case of severe flooding.
Next to the mill is the miller's house which dates from 1910.
