This photo is another experiment of mine, in which I captured the interaction between oil and water, this time with vibrant tones and a light source coming from below. For the background, I used different materials to create a rich texture and colour gradient. The oil, as in my earlier work, forms round bubbles floating in an ethereal space. In this image, the colours blue, purple and magenta play the main role, creating a dreamy and almost otherworldly feeling.
The large round bubble in the upper left captures light in a way that resembles a planet, complete with a halo of light around it. The smaller bubbles around it give the effect of stardust floating through a colourful cosmic landscape. The textures unfolding in the background create a sense of depth and movement, as if the oil were moving through the watery substance, with the light source from below highlighting every twist and turn.
The layering of colours gives a surreal feel, drawing the eye to the mix of intense bright magenta and cool, calm blue tones. The bubbles seem to interact with each other, and the light makes the whole thing even more expressive, as if floating through an abstract mist of light and colour.
As an amateur photographer, I love going out in nature to capture the most beautiful moments. And it is these photos you will mostly see on this website... Read more…
