The damsel-in-the-green is a wild plant and flowers from June to August with small, bright blue or white flowers, surrounded by a wreath of bracts. The flower has honey glands, which lure bumblebees and bees for pollination.
Both flowers and seed pods can be dried. The seed pods have a complicated, decorative shape, which many find attractive in dried bouquets.
As a background, I chose a vintage weathered look.
