Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Mountain landscape with St. Jerome, Paul Bril (1592)

Paul Bril went from Antwerp to Rome as a young painter and became the most influential landscape painter of his time. Bril painted this landscape on copper, a ground well suited for fine detail.

On the left, St. Hieronymus can be seen praying and doing penance in solitude. The landscape is a fantasy landscape like Flemish artists painted in the 16th century. The colors run from brown, through green to blue, making the landscape seem to stretch out endlessly
