About the artwork

Oman's mountain landscapes are among its most striking natural features, offering a breathtaking contrast to the country’s deserts and coastlines. One of the most prominent ranges is the Hajar Mountains, which stretch across much of northern Oman and extend into the neighboring United Arab Emirates. Within this range lies Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak, standing over 3,000 meters tall. Known as the "Grand Canyon of Oman," the area around Jebel Shams is famous for its dramatic cliffs, deep gorges, and panoramic views.

Oman's mountains are dotted with ancient villages like Misfat Al Abriyeen, where traditional architecture and farming practices have been preserved for generations. In these mountain villages, terraced farms are used to grow crops such as dates, pomegranates, and roses, the latter being especially valued for the production of rose water.

The diverse terrains of Oman’s mountains also attract outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, and canyoning. The cooler temperatures at higher altitudes provide a refreshing break from the desert heat, making Oman’s mountain landscapes an appealing destination for adventure and nature lovers alike.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
