Neon Rotation – A carousel-like movement amidst the flow of night-time colours by Mixed media vector arts

The image shows a fairground ride spinning rapidly, captured using a deliberate long exposure. The actual shape of the carousel recedes into the background and is overlaid by flowing trails of light. The image is dominated by intense shades of pink, violet, green and blue, which sweep through the frame in curving paths. Individual components such as platforms, railings and light strips remain fragmentarily visible and anchor the scene in real space, whilst the movement itself becomes the central motif. The inspiration for this image arose from the desire to translate the visual overload and simultaneous fascination of night-time funfairs into a reduced visual language. The resulting atmosphere is dense, electric and slightly ethereal. The strong use of colour gives the image an intense quality, yet it remains controlled as the trails of light follow clear directions of movement. A sense of continuous flow emerges, almost detached from time and gravity. In interior design, this piece complements modern, urban and industrial styles particularly well. It complements minimalist spaces, loft apartments, contemporary offices or interiors featuring dark materials and clean lines. Art movements such as abstract photography, light art and modern documentary photography are clearly reflected, picking up on current trends surrounding neon colours and movement. What makes this image special is the translation of an everyday fairground ride into an almost abstract composition. It serves as a powerful eye-catcher without being merely decorative, and brings visual depth to the room. The message conveyed revolves around movement, transience and the interplay of technology, light and perception.
