About the artwork

New York subway, acrylic paint on linen canvas.

This great piece of art is made by the Dutch artist Johannes.
Johannes has always been creative and driven by art, graffiti and music.
During his time working as an artist, he has created an impressive collection of various subjects.
One of these subjects is his city collection including the artwork that you are looking at right now.

The aim of his collections is to create something beautiful that will appeal to the public so that everyone can enjoy his art in their homes.
He works mostly with acrylic paint on canvas and paper. Other materials used in het artwork are pen, pencil, copic markers and even spray paint. That is where the graffiti influences shine through in his colorful artworks.

For this painting acrylic paint is used. All sides of the canvas are painted. The image of the back of the canvas where the sides are unpainted is just to show material of the canvas.

The subway is probably one of the most iconic transportation methods in the city. The painting gives you that urban and maybe old school feel. That is enforced by the use of blue and brown color tones. And using thicker acrylic paint has given the possibility to add thick paint strokes and create more texture on the canvas.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
