About the artwork

Abisko - a name that has a special ring to it among northern lights enthusiasts worldwide. Here, in the heart of the national park of the same name in Swedish Lapland, you have the chance to experience the Aurora Borealis in all its splendour almost every day on a clear day. This picture shows just such a moment: the aurora borealis rises in wide arcs over the horizon and transforms the wintry landscape into a stage in the sky.

The scenery is characterised by majestic tranquillity. The mountains in the background lie still and dark, the sky above flows in delicate shades of green and violet. It is as if the light itself is breathing - pulsating, alive, almost tangible. Due to its microclimate and clear visibility, Abisko is considered one of the best places in the world for observing and photographing the Northern Lights.

This photograph not only reflects a physical phenomenon, but also a feeling: awe, amazement, a deep inner feeling. It invites you to lose yourself - in the sky, in the vastness, in the silence. As a mural, it unfolds its full effect in landscape format, especially in rooms that need width and depth.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
