Subject: Stork is a colourful creation concerning the folklore of the stork and babies's.
Many different stories can be found about storks in combination with babies's. Just look on the internet. From the Egyptians to the Greeks. Ma-art-you chose the stork from German Folklore.
Inspiration: Ma-art-je's inspiration for this creation comes from her job in healthcare. She works part-time in a maternity ward in a hospital.
Materials used: Black ink and watercolour paint. The original was made on 250 g/m2 acid-free paper and is A4 size.
Technique: Ma-art-je 's own method with black ink and watercolour. She likes organic shapes and simple use of colour. She only lets the watercolour paint flow inside the shape. It is surrounded by a white line and the black ink.
This works very well in a baby's room.
