Orange above in Dutch nature

by Karla Leeftink

The wisps of mist reveal that the sun has only just risen on this lovely warm summer's day. Around sunrise, wisps of mist sometimes appear, which quickly dissipate and are dispelled by the sun. I was just in time to capture this moment. The sky turned a beautiful orange, which I saw reflected in the water. This reflection and the mist give a wonderful warm summer feeling.
So for those who love nature, summer, holidays and the Netherlands, this is the best combination!

The water draws your gaze from the foreground to the background, giving the photo depth. This optically extends the space. For example, a corridor appears longer and more spacious.
There is a lot of detail, for example in the sharpness of the grass and plants, so you don't quickly tire of looking at it.

In my mind, I walk along this little river again and enjoy the warm summer sun. I love the peace and quiet of nature.

The photo features backlighting, causing the mist and reflection to reflect the colours of the sun. The rich colour saturation adds a lot of atmosphere to the space in which it hangs. It therefore creates a pleasant feeling and warmth in a hallway, bedroom or above the dining table.

The photograph is of the Drentsche Aa, a border river between Drenthe and Groningen, roughly located between Assen and Groningen (city).
This work is suitable in small and large (XL or XXL) formats; its sharpness and detail will keep you looking!

With this work on your wall, you can imagine yourself in the warmth of nature every day. Where will you hang it? 'em?
