About "Ornate entrance gate in Venice"

About the artwork

I made this image, while walking through the city of Venice. You see here a gateway, leading to a courtyard. With two wooden doors behind it, giving access to a luxury residence along the canal.

I started my walk through the city, from my b&b near the train station. As I walked along one of the many narrow canals, I saw this impressive entrance on the other side, which is part of Palazzo Gradenigo. An imposing old mansion, which now houses holiday flats.

In the foreground you can see a white marble arch, which is overgrown with green climbing plants. Decorative ornaments can be seen on both sides of the arch. Behind the arch is a small courtyard, with two large wooden doors painted green. Next to the doors are white marble pillars with various decorative ornaments above them, which are carved into the marble. Also above these doors, you can see green climbing plants. Which make for a nice decorative element in that picture, with their fresh green colour!!!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
