About "Poppy in Saint-Cirq-lapopie"

About the artwork

The poppy. My favorite flower, for as long as I can remember. She looks fragile, but is in fact an incredibly strong flower, which needs only a joint in a wall to grow and bloom.
I took this photo in early June 2022 in the Lot in France,
while walking along the towpath that runs along the Lot towards Saint-Cirq-lapopie (Chemin de Halage) and came across a field full of poppies (see also my work "Poppies").
This poppy stood so beautifully solitary among the spent poppies and grass.
I photographed her so that the background is a bit darker for contrast and the light shines nicely on the foreground.
THIS hike is highly recommended if you are in the area. We were tipped off by the person from whom we rented our cottage. You walk along the Lot under the rocks and each time you have another beautiful view of the river. But the cliffs are also worth seeing, with art. If you want you can walk all the way to Saint-Criq-lapopie (about 5 km), although the last part is quite a climb.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
