This red squirrel ran across a forest floor covered in ivy. By standing on its hind legs, this squirrel maintained an overview, allowing any predators to be spotted in time. Among the ivy, the squirrel searched for hazelnuts that had fallen from a nearby hazelnut tree.
By keeping my camera low to the ground, I managed to get at eye level with the squirrel, creating what I think was a more beautiful photo than if the perspective was different. I am a big fan of shooting from the perspective of the animal you are photographing.
