About "Reflection"

About the artwork

For this abstract work, I painted and manipulated my own paper as a basis for making a collage. I pasted this paper to arrive at this composition. Because of this manual way of working, creases and wrinkles are visible in the paper. This partly gives it a lived-in and grunge effect. The charm of manual artistic impression versus the smooth perfect images created digitally. The warm orange and pink colours give this work a positive atmosphere in the room.
The row of crosses in the pink bar form a strong separation between bottom and top of this work. Two completely different worlds yet with similarities.
It makes me think about the fact that we are all human, that there are more similarities between us than differences. The colours give a positive feeling, let's live side by side in peace instead of focusing on differences.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
