This retro pattern with its cheerful colours is based on a home-made photo. A photo taken in a museum. In this museum, there was a colourful projection of different subjects. The cheerful colours used in it immediately inspired me to create something with it.
I digitally edited and distorted the original photo of one of the projected images. It was important that the cheerful bright colours were retained in this image processing.
The combination of this particular pattern together with the retro colours creates a cheerful artwork. An abstract artwork with a nod to the past!
I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
