This illustration was the cover of a short comic I created for the Kamper Stripspektakel contest. It was a love story about a Germanic slave and a Native American woman who met when a Roman ship accidentally landed in North America. A fictional story inspired by a news article of a Roman wreck found off the coast of Brazil. The drawing shows a centurion studying a peace pipe. Created in a dreamy mysterious style with washed ink.
