About "SPREAD THE LOVE"

About the artwork

This work stems from my sad feeling I have at the contemporary way people treat each other. There is so much anger, aggression and disrespect in my experience that I wonder what kind of world my grandchildren will grow up in. Yet I want to continue to believe in the love in human beings and when I heard Rare Bird's song "Sympathy" pass by in a playlist, it very much matched what I feel. I tried to depict this feeling in this digital continuous line drawing (one-line drawing) with watercolour.

I really like the transparency of water colours. Mixing the paint with more or less water creates the different transparent shapes. The pigmentation is airier than, say, oil paint, which for me appeals more to the imagination.

It is minimalist and clean, with the warm slightly greyish colour giving a summery feel. It would fit well as an eye-catcher in a minimalist interior, Scandinavian or Japandi.

My work is inspired by nature, flowers and plants, all the beauty Mother Earth gives us. My personal tribute! Let's take care of all that beauty, and use it with respect and love, nature can do very well without us, we not without nature

I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
