Arriving in Kniphorstbosch, the eye immediately catches this group of trees which is isolated from its surroundings by the ground fog. With the dawn and the coloured sky in the background, I feel like I'm on safari in Africa. What a beautiful sight.

I have been photographing since I was little, but the beauty of nature is something I really started to see by actively photographing landscapes and nature. By consciously standing still and taking in your surroundings you learn to look and feel differently.
Many photos were taken in the province of Groningen and along the coastline. During sunrise and sunset are the moments where the light plays with the surroundings. A very rewarding place to photograph.
