This big blue lake is Lac Léman (Lake Geneva). I was staying in Evian les Bains. I took the photo balancing on the window frame of my hotel room. That was indeed a bit dangerous, but it was worth it! The incredibly thick, white cloud over the vast lake. The blue sky around it. The fanning wind feathers above the thick cloud. And all those shades of blue! A wonderfully inspiring, yet calming image. And at the same time a representation of our insignificance: the big sailboats are tiny in this sea of blue.
