The original photograph of this work is from 2011. On the advice of my photography teacher, I took a landscape photo with a stone in the foreground. An item in the foreground, he taught me, makes the image more appealing. He is right. However, there is 1 big objection: I still find it boring. So I started playing with the stone and the photo in photoshop. Only 6 years later, with a lot of trial and error, was I satisfied with the image: a playful landscape in which gravity doesn't seem to play a role, or does it? Confusion is fun, you keep looking and trying to understand what you see. It gives you new perspectives!
