This artwork Red Hot Tulips (2011) is the result of one of my very first tulip projects. In that year I photographed these red and other tulips from all angles: from above, from below, with a view of the garden, the house, and on various sides, angled and so on. I varied the incidence of light, changed the location of the tulips, made different compositions ... You can just spend a lot of time creating the most satisfying image. Eventually this work 'Red Hot Tulips' emerged as the winner of the 'battle'. Back then, in 2011, I thought it was beautiful and that has not diminished. Over the years it has received a growing number of fans :-)
