Wood sawmill Het Jonge Schaap Zaandam.
While walking across the Zaanse Schans during the storm. I saw this image before me. The mill at the river in the storm. On the dike the wind whistling through the sails. The clattering roof tiles of the barns made it look threatening. I thought of editing this photo with a little color.
Emphasizing the storm in shades of black and gray I thought would give a good impression of the moment. Hat landscape ravaged by the rain the strong gusts of wind from the storm.
The dike of the Zaanse Schans takes a beating with the pounding waves.
The storm or strong wind is always an inspiration for me to make landscape photographs. Along the rivers or the coast. The waves, the roar of the wind that I find inspiring.
The Zaan region, the river Zaan, the mills and factories that I like to see.

Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
