Say you're in Paris, without saying you're in Paris.
Despite the blossom playing the main role in this photo, you can immediately see from the buildings in the background which city this scene is set in.
Early spring in Paris.
I took this photo in early March 2023 in the 11th arrondissement in Paris. It was cold, yet you could see that spring had already begun in nature. Always just a bit earlier than here in the Netherlands.
We had been to Atelier des Lumières and walked back past Square Maurice Gardette, where this photo was taken.
No leaves on the trees yet, but beautiful blossom.
One advantage of leafless trees is also that you can clearly see the buildings. I gave them a role in the background with the blossom prominent.
Paris is most romantic in spring, in my opinion, and I tried to capture that romance in this photo.
