On the last day of September 2022, I took this photo early in the morning near the river Lek.
At this spot, in the floodplain, you can see the rising sun reflected beautifully in the water.
When fog is predicted at this time of year, I am happy to get out of bed early for an hour of sunrise photography. I get tremendous energy from such a start to the day when I am alone with my camera in nature.
In the photo you can see the dewdrops on the spent hogweed and on the water you can still see the fog, before the sun makes it disappear and it promises to be a bright day.
Bearweed is a favorite subject for me to photograph and especially when they are finished blooming I love them.
