About the artwork
"Shades of brown: See-through view of fluff with water droplets" is a macro shot of some fluff on a dandelion fluff ball with water droplets. The soft warm "golden/ beige" light gives a relaxing feel. An atmosphere of peace and calm. Because a separate point of view has been taken, it seems as if you, the viewer, are inside the dandelion and looking at the fluff. You look between the fluff to the middle fluff.
When taking this picture, a shallow depth of field was chosen. This, besides creating a dreamy atmosphere (which is enhanced by the soft brown - cream - beige - warm colours), also creates a sense of depth in the work.
The drops also help create this dreamy atmosphere. They reflect the light and this creates sparkles among the dandelion fluff.
