Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Shattered dreams’ by Rudi Boeckxstaens

With *Shattered Dreams*, I wanted to capture the fragility of our deepest desires and memories. The work depicts a fragmented portrait in which soft, human facial features merge with cracks, fractures and geometric shapes. On the left-hand side, you see a piercing, lively gaze, whilst the right-hand side slowly disintegrates into abstract shards and fading layers. In the texture, I have played with the contrast between flowing, soft skin tones and the rough, cracked surfaces reminiscent of old porcelain or broken glass. The organic patterns around the neck and shoulders reinforce the sense of an inner world that is slowly transforming. It is a visual exploration of what remains when dreams shatter, yet within those very shards a new, melancholic beauty emerges
