This macro photo: "Simplicity: A Tulip with a Mocha (Moccha) coloured background" is a photo of a beautiful white (cream coloured) tulip with a brown background. I picked this beautiful Tulip in a Tulip picking garden in North Holland (the Netherlands).
I then left this tulip for a while, until the petals opened up a bit more. I think this made the shape of the tulip a bit more exciting. Because of the light, the white - cream-coloured petals seem to light up a bit. If you zoom in, you can see what I mean. You can then also see how beautifully detailed this photo is, in the parts where the focus is. When taking this photo, I chose a not too large depth of field, so that the sharpness gradually decreases towards the back. This creates a sense of calm and depth in the photo.
I took this photo in a series of tulips with different colours and backgrounds. These are fun to combine with each other!
For example, this photo can hang beautifully as decoration in the waiting room bedroom, dining room or just above the couch in the living room!
