About "Spiral Staircase"

About the artwork

I took this photo in Osaka, Japan. For my work I was allowed to go this way and in advance I had marked a number of locations to photograph including this spiral staircase.

Armed with tripod, camera and an ultra-wide 14mm lens, I went in search of the location, which had to be not too far from my hotel. It always remains to be seen if the location is correct and also freely accessible.

With Google Maps, I quickly managed to find the place. Fortunately, I was able to enter the building easily and once inside, I soon ran into this wonderful staircase. Now it is a matter of setting everything up properly and determining the right composition and then the shooting can begin. I made the first composition of this staircase from below. Then I walked upstairs and made this one. Two birds with one stone!

But just pressing the button isn't enough, I will work on that at home. Because at home I process 99% of my photos because I have a large screen, a fast desktop, a Wacom drawing tablet and several software packages at my disposal to quietly edit my photos and make them suitable for your wall.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
