The forty- foot wide Art Deco stained glass skylight made by the Payne Studios once graced the ceiling of Temple Emanu-El in Paterson, NJ. Built in 1929 by Frederick Wentworth, it was the center of Jewish life in New Jersey. Although the building is not functioning as a synagogue anymore, its beautiful window is preserved.
